Today we facilitated a webinar for grantees (Strategic Champions) of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute for our client, the Altarum Institute. Grantees are currently developing their trainings and tools to deliver heart health information to underserved and minority communities across the United States. They requested a web meeting where they could learn more about how to develop e-learning tools (webinars, web conferences, self-paced tutorials, mobile technology learning, etc.) so that they include adult learning principles.
Soda Creek briefly covered the adult learning principles and then showed examples of how they can be applied to heart health teaching scenarios.
