Field Research to Determine Messaging Strategies

January and February have been full of interviews and focus groups to learn what messaging strategies resonate with New Mexico audiences for a statewide sexual violence prevention campaign. We’ve met with project partners across the state as well as with community members in two locations. After conducting field research, we assess findings and develop messages based on audience preferences and best practices.


November 2015 – Literature Review

Literature Review – Sexual Violence Prevention Messaging

We reviewed over 30 studies related to sexual violence prevention to determine evidence-based messaging strategies. We will use the findings to inform development of statewide messaging strategies for a sexual violence prevention initiative in New Mexico.
